Description:
Beeston is a popular place to live in Nottingham. It is most popular with students, as it is on the doorstep of Nottingham University, and young professionals, as it is so close to Nottingham City Centre. It has excellent transport links, and is an easy commute into the centre at just 13 minutes. Beeston is also fairly well self contained, with a great selection of bars, pubs and restaurants which means it's residents are often more inclined to stay locally when considering a night out.
There are also plans to extend Nottingham’s Tram links in the near future, which would provide greater ease of access to and from Beeston. Although house prices are slightly higher than in other districts, Beeston continues to attract house buyers due to its pleasant, leafy nature and friendly residents. Attractions close by which are worth a visit include Attenborough Nature Reserve, Bramcote Hills Park and Wollaton Hall and Park.
