Description:
The regular regional food and drink market is being staged in the Old Market Square, bringing a feast of treats to shoppers in the city.
The market is held on the third Friday and Saturday of every month.
And with almost 40 stallholders from across the East Midlands – selling everything from meat, cheese and pickles, to fudge, cakes, beer and wine – there’s going to be plenty of choice for food and drink lovers everywhere.
The event is organised by East Midlands Fine Foods in conjunction with Nottingham City Council.
“The Old Market Square is in the heart of Nottingham and it’s a fantastic place in which to hold a regional food market,” said Paul Cullen, manager of East Midlands Fine Foods.
“Obviously the site has a strong history of markets, and we hope this particular market will be the latest in a long line of successful events that have been held in the Square.Specialist producers from across the region will be selling a wide variety of products, and we hope that shoppers interested in quality food will put us at the top of their shopping lists.”
The markets will run from 9am to 4.30pm
