Description:

Fire crews are fighting were called to a large fire at Heanor Gate Science College.

Eight fire engines are at the school in Heanor Road, Heanor.

One building believed to be the computer department is on fire with flames as high as 20ft, firefighters are trying to control the fire.

Fire Crews were called out to the school at around 5.40am.

The school has been closed and all school buses cancelled.
