Nottingham Pride Festival makes its return this month with the city's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/ transsexual communities celebrating life in the city.
This year's festival takes place on Saturday 31st July at the Forest Recreation Ground (the Goose Fair site).
Nottingham Pride has an extra two hours of FREE celebration and entertainment with activities for the whole family running from 12 noon until 8pm.
On the day, visitors can take part in a Nottingham Pride 'March' which starts at 10.30am at the Old Bandstand in the Arboretum Park and flows through town to the Forest Recreation Ground where the celebrations will continue.
This year there will be over 50 stalls including local LGBT support groups and services along with arts, crafts and food stalls.
There will also be a range of fantastic live music and entertainment with performances from Lisa Scott Lee, Andy Scott Lee, The Cheeky Girls, The Dream Bears and Betty from the L Word amongst others.
