Nottingham Teenager Represents England At UK School Games

A 15-year-old swimmer from Nottingham has been selected to represent England at the Sainsbury's UK School Games.

Nottingham teenager Luke Howdle will compete in the 200m breaststroke against the UK's school-aged elite at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre, from September 2 to 5.

The George Spencer School pupil has recived support from Mansfield's double Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington.

The Sainsbury's UK School Games aims to provide opportunity for young athletes to take part in a multi sport competition 

that will provide them with an invaluable educational and inspirational experience.
