The A52 In Nottingham To Be Closed

Drivers in Nottingham are being warned that there will be major road closes over the coming months. The closure of the A52 is to take place between the 6^th of September and the 10^th of October due to the road being resurfaced.

Drivers are being warned of the closure in advance so they can make alternative plans. A 30 mph speed limit will be imposed and diversions are expected in the vicinity of Queen’s Medical Centre.

Those travelling towards Derby on the bus will not be affected, however those entering Nottingham should expect to be diverted. Lenard Murray, Highways Agency manager commented: "We of course appreciate that the A52 is a key route for people travelling in and around Nottingham.

"After comprehensive consultation with various partners, we have agreed a plan for these essential works - including restricting closures to night time only - which will keep disruption to road users to a minimum."
